Learn About the Ancash Mining District.

It stands as one of the most promising high-grade mining districts in the world, renowned for its abundant mineral resources and supportive community.

The Antamina mine in the Andes Mountains of Peru is one of the largest copper/zinc mines in the world.

Ancash has a rich history of successful mining operations and continues to be a hub of activity today. The region is home to significant mines such as the Antamina Mine, renowned for its high-grade copper-zinc-silver ores, which remains operational and recently received permitting for a long-term expansion seeing production until 2036. Additionally, the Pierina Mine, a high-grade gold producer, and the Casma Mine, known for its polymetallic deposits, further highlight Ancash's ongoing importance in Peru’s mining industry.

Ancash is a Modern Hub of Operating Mines.

Colcabamba PROJECT

Project Summary:

The Cochabamba project consists of 10 mining concessions covering an effective area of approximately 8,123 hectares, located on the western flank of the Cordillera Negra, in north-central Peru. Included in the Cochabamba project mining concessions that Estrella owns is the Antonella Daniela I concession. The Antonella Daniela I concession covers an area of 900 hectares and is currently the main target area of interest on the Cochabamba project.

The mineralized veins of the old Esperanza mine form the current main area of interest and were the focus of the bulk of previous exploration activity. The mine is centred at 187,000 mE 8,956,000 mN and at an altitude of 3,700 metres above sea level, and lies entirely within the Antonella Daniela I concession.

The Antonella Daniela I concession is currently the main area of exploration on the Cochabamba project, and was most recently explored and drilled by Minera Silex Peru SRL from 2006 to 2012. Minera Silex drilled a total of 11 holes located within the current Antonella Daniela 1 concession.

Summary:

The Antonella target, spanning 900 hectares, is directly adjacent to Highlander Silver’s Bonanza-grade La Bonita target within the San Luis project. This proximity to a high-grade gold deposit positions Antonella as a prime exploration site with immense potential.

Key Features:

  • Location: Ancash, Peru
  • Land Package: 900 hectares
  • Neighbouring Projects: La Bonita (Highlander Silver), San Luis-Bonita target
  • Exploration Stage: Advanced exploration with over 2,461 meters drilled historically by Minera Silex Peru SRL from 2006 to 2012.

Extensive sampling results:

  • Max Au 155 g/t; 192 samples >0.1 g/t (avg 2.41 g/t over 0.1 g/t).
  • Max Ag 714 g/t; 173 samples >10 g/t (avg 79.7 g/t over 10 g/t).

Priority ground contiguous to Antonella along the same NW–SE fault corridor; early mapping indicates vein continuity Antonella → Bonita and underscores upside across Zones 1–3.

Libélulas (~2,900 ha) — Strategic Concessions

Yanamina (+5,618 ha ) — Outcropping Epithermal Au

Summary:

Road-accessible, near-surface gold system with a historic (non-current) resource and room to grow via recently staked ground surrounding the core concession.

Historic resource (0.50 g/t Au cut-off):

  • Indicated: 1,566,900 t @ 1.65 g/t Au = 83,100 oz Au
  • Inferred: 3,235,000 t @ 1.19 g/t Au = 123,700 oz Au

Daura plans verification and update work before treating this as current.

Historic drill highlights (from surface unless noted):

  • 30 m @ 6.60 g/t Au;
  • 37.5 m @ 5.57 g/t Au;
  • 31.5 m @ 4.66 g/t Au;
  • 15 m @ 6.05 g/t Au,
  • plus multiple additional near-surface intercepts.

Historic work summary: 78 drill holes (3,402 m) and 2,643 samples underpin the resource model.

NI 43-101 caution: The Yanamina estimate is historic and non-current. A Qualified Person has not done sufficient work to classify it as current; it should not be relied upon. Daura intends to complete the work necessary to verify and update it.
